Since it's in the outskirts of Port Blair, far from the city noises, Chidiyatapu is famous among locals and tourists who’d like an escape from their daily routine. The whole area is enclosed within a tropical jungle stretching along miles and miles from both sides and opening into a wonderful view of the sea. One of the most famous things about Chidiyatapu is the sunset. It is considered the best place to watch the sunset and it is what attracts a lot of both local and traveling tourists here.
